A Sweet Stop at Rimrock Mall

T’is the season for the Magic City to have it’s own cupcake shop!

This evening, for the first time ever I indulged in a chocolate peanut butter cupcake from Billings’ newest sweet spot:  Tipsy Cupcake.  The cupcake I sampled was fresh and spongy, be-swirled with peanut butter buttercream icing and topped with a sliver of a peanut-butter cup candy.  All in all, it was well worth the $3.00 of pocket money I forked over for a decadent treat.

Set to kick off it’s new retail outlet next to the Unplugged wireless accessory store in the Shiloh Crossing movie complex in January, Tipsy Cupcake has a temporary kiosk stationed in Rimrock Mall located just outside The Buckle.  The permanent home will have a larger selection of flavors, but for now the kiosk features approximately three or four flavors per day.  Employees told me that the signature flavor is Pink Champagne, but today I had the choice of Lemon, Red Velvet or Chocolate Peanut Butter.  Anyone who knows me can appreciate that I never pass up chocolate!

Tonight I also discovered that the new cupcake store will sport a few small tables and chairs for a sweet social experience.  The cupcakes will be sold individually or by the dozen, and will available in bulk for weddings and events.  The up-and-coming location will be ideal for Shiloh 14 movie-goers to get a sugar buzz, or for nearby restaurant diners to drop in for dessert.
