HURT performs live tonight (February 28th) at Manny’s Sports and Entertainment at 7pm.  Jeffro and Gerrick and Marco open the show.  Day of show tickets are $15.  Doors open at 6pm.

Drawing from their previous strikingly arranged and richly constructed studio albums, HURT will play an all-acoustic show that features reinterpreted classic HURT radio hits like “Falls Apart”, “Rapture and War”s, along with new songs from their forthcoming full-length release ‘The Crux.’

“We’re excited to showcase familiar tunes in a new light with our upcoming acoustic tour. It has been something that fans have been requesting for quite some time and, as musicians, it is also important for us to keep reinventing ourselves, even if sometimes that means going back to the roots. Most of these songs were written on acoustic instruments and it is one of the strengths of this band that I look forward to sharing,” says J.Loren (vocals/guitar/violin).

This spring, HURT will release their fifth album, ‘The Crux,’ through their new label Carved Records. ‘The Crux’ will continue HURT’s brand of intelligent hard rock while providing a heavy dose of insight about our collective humanity.

Check out HURT’s new single, “How We End Up Alone”:

HURT’s story began in 2000, when the group originally formed in Virginia, before ultimately relocating to the west coast. Along the way, the group signed with Capitol Records and released four albums and have toured alongside some of rock’s biggest names, including Staind, Three Days Grace, Alice in Chains, Seether and Breaking Benjamin. To date, HURT has sold over a quarter million albums and has generated over 150,000 plays at Active Rock, Rock and Alternative radio over several singles. As previously mentioned, HURT’s new album, The Crux (Carved Records), will be out March 27. This is their sixth studio release and it marks a return to the sound that their fans know and love.
