Billings Biggest Weekend of Concerts starts now!
If you’re still saying that “There’s nothing to do in Billings,” I’m sorry my friend but you are wrong, wrong, wrong! Especially when you look at what’s going on this weekend!
Six different concerts are happening this Friday, Saturday and Sunday night between Magic City Blues Festival and MontanaFair.

Tonight Sublime with Rome kicks off MontanaFair at 7pm in the Rimrock Auto Arena.
Tickets for all MontanaFair shows are $25 for general admission, $35 for reserved, and $45 for premium and can be purchased at the MetraPark Box Office, Rimrock Mall, local Cellular Plus stores, online at metrapark.com or by phone at 406-256-2422.
Chris Isaak gets Magic City Blues started outdoors on Montana Avenue. Other bands performing tonight include Downtime, Rick Estrin and the Nightcats, Oli Brown Band, and Little Freddie King. Tickets for a single night of Magic City Blues are $49 and can be purchased Holiday Station stores and Rimrock Mall.
Saturday night, pop music lovers can enjoy Gavin Degraw and Colbie Caillat in the Rimrock Auto Arena during MontanaFair. Showtime is 7pm.
Counting Crows take us back to the 90s (yes, they have new music out but come on, you can’t wait to hear “Mr. Jones”) as they headline Magic City Blues on Saturday night. Schuster, Kevin Selfe and the Tornadoes, Rick Estrin and the Nightcats, Sons of Fathers, Tender Mercies, Kasey Anderson & the Honkies, and Field Report also perform.
Sunday night, country music fans will be torn as Billy Currington performs during MontanaFair and Allison Krauss and Union Station perform at South Park for Magic City Blues.
If you aren’t holding a ticket for one of the above events, I urge you to go buy a ticket to one of them today. Live music of any genre is the best music. Don’t let Monday roll around and all your friends will be talking about what a fun weekend they had while you were sitting at home watching the Olympics…you can DVR them!
