September is (Un)Officially BrewFest Month in Billings
Billings365.com is (un)officially declaring the month of September “BrewFest Month” in Billings. With more weekends offering an ale festival type of event than not, we think it’s appropriate.
1. The Trailhead Brew & Chew on September 7th

Location: The Trailhead Plaza at The Billings Depot
Hours: 5pm-11pm
Music by: The Clintons, Austin Martin and the Val Killmores, and Golden Grenade
Brews by: Angry Hanks, Carters, Montana Brewing, Yellowstone Valley Brewing (wine by Yellowstone Cellars) and more
Food by: Smorcart, Ciao Mambo, Lilac, Cafe Decamp, Cafe Italia and more
Cost: $25 (includes cup and tickets for food and beer)
Benefits: Family Support Network and Billings Depot
2. Oktoberfest – Billings’ German Beer & Food Festival

Location: Yellowstone Art Museum (outdoors)
Hours: 5pm-10pm
Music by: Downtime and 7th Aveneu Band
Brews by: Angry Hanks, Uberbrew, Montana Brewing Company and more. Plus YAM Ale brewed from sweet potatoes. Sample over 30 regional brews.
Food by: Uberbrew & Smorcart
Cost: $30 for unlimited sampling, $10 for regular admission
Benefits: Yellowstone Art Museum
3. Ales for Trails – The Original Billings Ale Festival

Location: Dehler Park
Hours: 5pm-10pm
Music by: Funk in the Trunk
Brews by: Carters, Montana Brewing Company, Red Lodge Ales, Angry Hanks, Fat Jacks and more. Featuring the Trailhead Ale – a collaborative brew by the regions best brewers! Sample over 50 brews.
Food by: Smorcart, Z Pizza, The Greek Station, Khanthaly’s Eggrolls, Good Earth Market, Staggering Ox and the Mustangs concessions
Cost: $30 in advance, $35 at the gate
Benefits: Billings trail systems
