Hopefest Tomorrow!

September 7, 2012 @ 3:40 pm by jodie

Hey! Don’t forget tomorrow is Montana Rescue Mission’s Hopefest!

Straight from director Gary Drake:

The day begins with live music at 10 am in front of the Montana Rescue Mission’s Men’s Shelter, followed by a parade of BED RACE beds at 11. The BEDS FOR BILLINGS BED RACE starting gun will begin the BED RACE AT 12 noon.

During the rest of the day we will have activities for kids (face painting, jewelry making, play equipment),  food served until 3 pm, music throughout the day, tours of Montana Rescue Mission facilities and so much more!

Musicians scheduled to play during the day bring a wide mix of live musical styles (from old-time country western to contemporary Christian to ballads to hip-hop and an amazing group of dancers called the Wrecking Clowns)!  They are always a crowd favorite.  There will be something for everyone.

Our newly remodeled Downtown Bargain Center will have specials all day long and there will a silent auction for some pretty amazing things.

But the thing I think the most exciting part of the day will be the drawing to win a brand new, 16 foot camping trailer that was generously donated by Pierce RV Supercenter!  You must be present to win but that is half the fun!

If you have any questions please feel free to call at 259-3800.  Further information is also available on the Montana Rescue Mission website atwww.montanarescuemission.org.

The weather report is for an amazing day so come on down and spend it with us!  HOPE TO SEE YOU AT HOPEFEST 2012
