Yellowstone Art Museum’s Oktoberfest!

September 25, 2012 @ 8:29 pm by jodie

Yam Ale for YAM.

Brewed by Überbrew with organic sweet potatoes for the Yellowstone Art Museum’s third annual Oktoberfest- it is quite tasty and there is one keg left. Starting tomorrow, it will be available at Überbrew. When it’s gone it’s gone.

If you missed Oktoberfest, you missed a great night of a variety of craft beer accompanied by fun live music and chicks in busty German outfits. ( You should have gone…)  The groovy mobile restaurant Smørcart was serving up German style fare.  Smørcart can be experienced at 628 Grand Avenue and they also cater!

Yellowstone Art Museum provides our community with the opportunity to enjoy and be inspired by regional art as well as traveling exhibits. Promoting the arts promotes the soul.  A very cool addition to check out is the Visible Vault located directly northeast of the museum.  Straight from YAM’s site:  ”The Visible Vault is the first publicly accessible art storage facility in our region and may be the only one in the country that opens one museum’s entire collection storage space to public view. Stop by to find out more about how we care for our region’s artistic legacy.”

Carve out a little time in your schedule and stroll through museum and vault.

And while you are at it- throw a little money their way!
