Art from a Vending Machine?

The Art-o-mat has arrived at Yellowstone Art Museum. A retired, cigarette vending machine, the Art-o-mat vends an original work of art with just the pull of a knob. The cost is just $5 so anyone can become an art collector.

The Art-o-mat has been a great hit since coming to Billings and now the YAM wants to fill the vending machine with original works by Billings area artists. Art-o-mat founder Clark Whittington will be at the Yellowstone Art Museum on tonight at 6:30pm to share a little bit about the history of Art-o-mat and show local artists how to become Art-o-mat artists.
