Keep your feet warm! It’s going to get cold!

This is Montana and eventually the snow will fall!  Be prepared to keep your feet warm and stylish this winter season.

I went out today to look for a new pair of boots. My closet is already full, but I am lacking an everyday neutral pair of boots that will look great with every outfit and every color. I went to Marcasa first, which is Downtown on Broadway.  It’s a great little boutique with tons of great finds but I was specifically on the prowl for boots and I was in luck–Marcasa has a great selection. They even carry men’s shoes so your man can stay looking good and warm. I fell in love with a pair of Ella Moss high heel boots. They made this shopaholic weak in the knees! They also had Tretorn boots which I have heard keep your feet very warm for those chilly nights when you are out on the town. Plus, they had the softest winter accessories I have ever felt! There were scarves, mittens and hats that were cute and plush! While I was there, I also saw a great fur coat that I knew would look great with the outfit I have picked out for the Christmas party I’m going to next week.

 

After Marcasa, I ran across the street to Blush.  This is a relatively new boutique in town that has some great women’s fashion. Kourtney, the owner, told me they have a lot of new merchandise coming in shortly, so everything right now is buy one get one 50% off! Can you believe that? Great deal if you ask me! She had a great pair of black flat boots that were so beautiful. These boots were lace up and knee high. Very very nice.  Blush also carried some really great jackets that would look so cute with these boots and adorable colored jeans (which are very on trend right now and on every girl’s Christmas list) so I just grabbed one of each and went to the dressing room.  As I went to check out, I saw a sign advertising Spa nights at the store. You can get your girlfriends together for foot and hand treatments and everyone gets tons of free stuff and great discounts on the clothes.

 

Next, I walked around the corner to Bottega to see the lovely ladies there! They are always so helpful and friendly! When I first walked in, I fell in love! The table in the middle of the room is filled with boots! Knee high boots, ankle boots, any kind of boot you could ask for! There was a pair that were gray and real leather that were THEE softest boot I’ve ever felt. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that all of the boots at Bottega are made from real leather so they will keep your feet very warm and of course fashionable.  This season, though, ankle boots are very in style so you can wear them with a dress or skirt. There was a pair that was color block and half the boot was glitter! To die for! I had to get them! And of course I got leg warmers in gray, black and brown to wear with all the new boots I got today! The girls told me to come back and make a wish list that can be shared with my loved ones. What a great idea–why keep your friends and family guessing about what you want?
