Crazy Days is Here! A Great time to shop Downtown Billings

This week is Crazy Days in Downtown Billings.  The Downtown merchants have slashed prices on Winter Clearance and in some stores – storewide!

I had a chance to get Downtown on my lunch hour yesterday and now I’m thinking that I’m going to have to plan another trip when I have more time.  There are great deals on some unique items.

Montana Vintage Clothing has 25% off on men’s and women’s coats, women’s hats, and men’s pants along with 50% off on women’s shoes.  I highly admire people who can incorporate vintage pieces into their wardrobe and make them look modern.  Montana Vintage Clothing is packed with some very unique pieces.  Their storefront right now has some more formal (think wedding) pieces that are amazing.  While they aren’t on sale for crazy days, they are definitely worth a look if you have a special event coming up.  One of the best ways to start with vintage, I’ve found, is with the jewelry.  It’s not on sale at this time for Crazy Days but it’s incredibly affordable already.  Earrings were around $4 a pair.

Next, I walked over to Cricket Clothing Company.  Cricket has a great assortment of Women’s clothing and you can find something for just about any age woman in there.  They have a huge winter clearance section right now and it is all marked down to 50% off.  I saw some beautiful, really high quality jackets in there.  Now would be a great time to invest in a piece that will last you a long time.  I also took a peek at their jewelry and they’ve got some great stuff.  I was drawn to their assortment of bracelets which weren’t on sale but were priced around $30, so not too bad on the pocketbook anyway.

My last stop for the day was Bottega (I always have to stop in and see Janine (she blogs about fashion for us!) and Katie) and have they got an incredible sale running – everything is at least 30% off storewide!  And their clearance (which is located upstairs) has even bigger discounts.  Their children’s clothing is 75% off and that’s where I really got sucked in!  They’ve got some of the cutest, fashionable items for kids.  I was able to snatch up a dress, cute top and super trendy colored skinny jeans for my almost 2 year old for about $40.  They’ve also got select denim for men and women at just $40.  And for every $100 you spend, you get entered into a drawing for a $150 gift card.  The girls at Bottega are also very helpful in helping you find the right fit or putting items together for the look you want to achieve…and not in that pushy salesy, “I work on commission,” kind of way!

 

In my lunch hour, that’s all I could get around to but I’m going to have to make time for more shopping.  I’ve got some birthdays coming up for family members and I know I could find them some nice gifts at good prices this week.
