Yep, Valentine’s Day is tomorrow!  Some of you may have been painstakingly planning every detail for the perfect gift for your special someone for months.  But for many, the pressure of finding the right gift just makes us procrastinate until the last second.  Below are a few ideas to bail you out of a jam.

Of course, here at we’re all about taking in the local events and entertainment and we think that a great experience and time with those you care about can trump any gift any day!  Make plans to attend these events and maybe include the tickets in the Valentine’s Day card or you know, go all out and have them put into a helium filled balloon or whatever.

Zoophoria at ZooMontana:

Jeff the Nature Guy and crew are planning quite the unique event set for this Saturday night. You’ll get a look into the wild world of animal courtship, mating and parenting that just might make you blush.  And you get to enjoy a prime rib dinner, decadent desserts and there will be a cash bar.  The cost is $50 per couple and you can reserve your spot by calling 406.652.8100 or emailing

Comedy beCause at Alberta Bair Theater:

Maybe comedy is more your style?  You’re in luck because there just so happens to be a great show in town this Friday night. Comedian, Louie Anderson headlines this benefit for The Center for Children and Families.  Tickets are $39 and you can get them at the Alberta Bair Theater Box Office or online at

Projectile Comedy at NV Nightclub:

Projectile Comedy takes place every Thursday night at NV Nightclub.  This would be a great show for Valentine’s Day for couples or singles alike.  The improv troupe performs a great show each week and I’m sure they’ve got some special material for the lovely holiday.  And best of all, it’s just $6. To reserve your seats, text 406-690-9928.

Prince Theater presents Sylvia at The Holiday Inn Grand Convention Center:

This live theatre performance sounds like a lot of fun for couples.  It’s about Greg and Kate, city-dwellers adjusting to life after children and the introduction of a stray poodle into their lives.  The trials and tribulations of marriage and a man in a mid-life crisis are brought to life through their relationship with Sylvia, the dog.  Sylvia will play this Thursday, Friday, Saturday at 8pm with an optional dinner at 6:30pm and on Sunday at 12:30pm with lunch or 2pm for show only.  Tickets are $35 for dinner and show or $18 for show only.  Get tickets by calling 406-248-3335.

Happy Valentine’s Day, Billings! We luv ya! xoxoxo
