Bar 51: The Windmill’s Fabulously Renovated Bar
With recent indoor renovations, The Windmill restaurant is ready to accommodate all of your libation and summer get-together needs. Arguably the best patio in town, Bar 51 offers a two acre pond sanctuary for deer, pheasants, water fowl, and humans. A large awning provides shade and shelter from weather and a ten foot fire-pit offers warmth on chillier evenings.
The inside refurb, complete a week ago, is spacious and full of craftsmanship charm. Grab a booth, belly up to the bar, or snag one of the bar tables seating as many as 12 people. The bartenders are friendly and can offer an array of wines, craft beers, liquors, and cocktails. Special drinks include the Rainbow Shot, Kinki Martini, The Fishbowl, and the Windmill Margherita. Happy hour is 4-7 pm seven days a week with $2.50 wells and $2 domestic drafts.
(The Rainbow Shot: Vodka, Blue Curaco, OJ,and Grenadine- you get more Vodka in the blue/green glass, varied combos of the ingredients as you go down the glasses, and mostly Grenadine in the final red glass.)
Open for lunch and dinner, the entire dining room menu is available in the bar. They have some beautiful prime rib and rib eye’s waiting for you.
Don’t miss “CHILL @ the MILL” Saturday June 29th from noon to 6pm. Free barbecue and drink specials with great music by “Tight Wired”.
