Best of luck to all of the Big Sky State Games athletes who are participating in the Olympic style competition this weekend at various locations across Billings!  While registration has closed, you can find times and locations for the sporting events at the Big Sky State Games website if you’d like to be a spectator!

The Opening Ceremonies offer a great evening for those participating, their families and friends, and the community at Wendy’s Field at Daylis Stadium on Friday night.  Long distance runner and Olympic Silver Medalist, Meb Keflezighi will be lighting the torch and will be at the ceremonies for meet & greet.

You can also participate in a 5K run or 1 mile fitness walk.  The evening will feature live entertainment, food, fun and comradery.

Gates open at 5:30 pm and the official ceremony begins at 7:30 pm.  The first 500 through the gate get a ticket for free BBQ!  Admission is just $5 and free for children 6 and younger.
