Alive After 5 Lineup Announced

Well, it is spring in Billings which means beautiful sunshine one day, snow and rain the next. But, here and there are a few indications of forthcoming warm weather and with it the outdoor events that we all love.

One of which is Downtown Billings’ Alive After 5 Series.  Every Thursday throughout the summer an outdoor party is hosted at a different Downtown location with live music.  It’s a chance to enjoy the warm weather, have a cold drink and catch up with friends. Today on the Downtown Billings Facebook Page they announced their official line-up for the host venues and bands that will be playing the series. Check it out-


June 2nd Downtown Billings hosts at Yellowstone Art Museum with music by Six Strings Down

June 9th at Ciao Mambo with music by Funk in the Trunk

June 16th at Rowdy’s with music by Sons of Billings

June 23rd at The Carlin with music by Soul Brat

June 30th at Montana Brewing Company with music by Bucky Beaver and the Groundgrippers

July 7th at Tiny’s with music by Black Velvet Undercover

July 14th at the Rex with music by Jared Stewart

July 21st at Walkers Grill, music TBA

July 28th at the Monte Carlo with music by 7th Avenue Band

August 4th at Pug Mahons  with music by the Peach Pickers

August 11th at The Rock Pile with music by Big Caboose

August 18th is Downtown Billings Family Fun Night with music by the Mid Life Chryslers -(FIB sponored Kid’s Area featuring the ABCs, food, and activities on N. 31st!)

August 25th at Surfer Joe’s with music by D’Tective

I can almost feel the warm summer sun and taste the icy cold beer right now!
