Artwalk is This Friday in Downtown Billings
Winter ArtWalk is the last event of the 22nd Season of ArtWalk Downtown Billings (2016-2017). It’s been a banner season for ArtWalk with 29 Season Members and nearly 40 artists and sites participating on a one-time basis.
Winter ArtWalk celebrates Toucan Gallery’s ten year ownership anniversary under Alison O’Donnell and Mark Sanderson and Underground Culture Krew’s four year anniversary founded by Tyson Middle.
Seven galleries join Winter ArtWalk as one-time participants: Barjons, Vintage Apothecary, This House of Books, G+G Advertising, Maezevo Coffee Roasters and Espresso, Fieldhouse Coffeehouse and Bakery and Magpie Jewelry. .
ArtWalk’s 23rd Season opens with Spring ArtWalk on Friday, May 5, 2017. Other dates include: Summer ArtWalk, August 4, Autumn ArtWalk October 6, and Holiday ArtWalk, December 1, 2017 and Winter ArtWalk, Friday 2, 2018.
All ArtWalk events are free. Many sites offer music and refreshments. Featured artists greet visitors and discuss their art. ArtWalk is a perfect time to view and purchase original art and fine crafts and connect with others who appreciate art and engage in the creative process.
ArtWalk hours are from 5 – 9 p.m. ArtWalk Downtown Billings is family friendly and weather-resistant. Events are not cancelled due to snow or cold. On-street metered parking is free during ArtWalk. Rates vary at city parking garages.
