Chef Mike will discuss the many different types of salt and suggested uses and then demo a number of different techniques using a variety of different foods. This class is sure to sell out quickly, so register early!
Cooking techniques will include:
1.Fish baked in a salt crust
2.Curing Salmon with salt (gravlax)
3.Cooking on salt blocks
4.Brining of foods and its benefits
5.Vegetables buried in salt and cooked
